I have an announcement to make...

We have a mouse. No, not a pet. A pest. The funny thing about this mouse is that he eats the peanut butter we put on the trap, but he doesn't set it off. How is he doing that? It isn't a free meal you crazy mouse! I didn't check the trap this morning (I let Chris do that) but I hope we catch him soon. Update by Chris: I decided to put peanut butter all over the trap, not just on the little yellow thing, to see if our little free loader would get greedy. We no longer have a mouse....

Back to School

Chris has decided to go back. Yipee! He is now a Weber State Wildcat. Good luck Chris!

Bye Bye Blondie

Hello Brunette! Time for a change. I have been blond for about a year and I needed something different. I guess I picked brown to accentuate my pale skin to make me look even more dead. ;)

Speed, Mayhem, Cops, Fire, and Stupidity

Yesterday I witnessed an amazing sequence of events. I was filling up at the local Sinclair station by our house when a couple of police officers came past with lights and sirens. I didn't think much of it until about 30 seconds later when a bullet bike came by in the opposite direction doing about 70 - 80 miles per hour. There was three police officers chasing him. Well, I watched his front tire wobble just a little bit and that was all it took. He crashed, HARD. He went flying, his bike slid under an SUV that was coming the other way and started on fire! The SUV quickly became a ball of fire (Don't worry, everyone inside got out safely). But the craziest part of this whole story comes when I looked back to see what had happened to the guy that crashed. He was up and running away from the cops! I have absolutely no idea how he survived that crash with no helmet on. This was definitely the craziest thing I have ever witnessed. UPDATE: This story was on the front of page of the ...

Kinda Upset...

I am not too happy that someone decided to delay then of release Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince until July of '09, but they should be shot. **** Onto better things. Wakeboarding Silly Chris **** Quiz time. Take a guess as to why I am standing by this car. This is Trent (my Brother-in-law) friends car. I would truly love to buy this from him because he is selling it, but I can't afford it. He needs to replace a headlight and was quoted $1000.00! I don't want it that bad.

Carrie Jo & Shari Irene

I l ove my sisters as everyone knows (that includes you Shari) and this week is Carrie's & Shari's birthdays! Sorry I don't have better pictures of you guys. This is Carrie, Jeff, and Benson as Clark Kent, Lois Lane, and Superman at my last Halloween Party. Once again, sorry, but I went to snapfish and this was the only picture I could find of Shari. We took a family vacation to Sun Valley Idaho a couple of years ago and I think Dana caught this beautiful picture of her while we were bowling! ;0) Happy Birthday Girls!

Things are getting Messi!

Jena hates it when I post things right after her, because she doesn't get as many comments. (Quick what characters do you type for a crying face....) But I know how much you all love my soccer posts..... Here is Argentinian Lionel Messi versus the entire Getafe team in a match in Spain last year.

Family

My sister Carrie and her two boys stayed at my moms house this weekend while Jeff had a paint ball thing (I think) up in Boise. Jeff should go more often because we had so much fun!  And on top of that, I absolutely adore her boys. Carrie and I went to the Logan temple to do initiatories on Saturday morning. It was soo busy with weddings so we didn't take a picture in front of the temple. We didn't want to interfere with their moment. I love all of my sisters! :0) Also this weekend was the Anderson family reunion (my moms side). I have never been extremely close with my Grandma, but since my grandpa died about 3 years ago, I have come to know and love my grandma so much more. I feel so huge in size compared to her, she is so little! Man, I should have taken more pictures.

Bowling with Barber's

Every once in a while the Barber's do a whole family FHE and they decided to go bowling, which Chris and I both LOVE! I took some really funny videos but, I don't have the patience to upload them so these pictures will have to do. The Barber Family . Chris is really a good bowler, but why do I win every time? Caydence didn't  bowl for very long. I kept taking pictures of her to try to keep her entertained. Ethan is obviously not old enough to bowl but, he kept me entertained. Nice shot right. Shirt coming up, pants coming down. ;0) Gavin was the best to watch. He stood there until his ball hit the pins which took like a minute every time. If anybody, and I mean anybody, wants to challenge Chris and I to a game... Just tell us the time and place!

Unbelievable

Happy 50th Birthday uncle Doug! Chris's Uncle Doug had a super fun birthday party celebrating his 5oth birthday.  We love you Doug! **** After the Doug's party, Carrisa and I went to Smith's and bought the last book in the Twilight Saga. There was only about 30 people in line. I was quite surprised.  Not the best picture, I know. This is about all I saw on Saturday, but it paid off. I finished in about 16 hours and I can honestly say I freakin' LOVED this book. I totally never would have guessed everything that happened *no spoilers here* I would described the first half of the book as "crazy" and the second half as typical, but extremely good. Did anybody else not help it but picture Rob Pattenson as Edward, or was it just me? It made me like him a whole lot better for some reason.
