The Woman in Black

Not sure why I love scary movies... I think it goes back to when I was a kid and me and my friend Amanda always watched them. I think this movie looks pretty scary. What is it about dolls that freaks people out?! By the way, Daniel Radcliffe looks excellent not dressed as Harry Potter. What to you say Amanda? Will we be the taking our hubbies to theater to watch this movie?

Expecto Patronum

I wish I could say that I've done something productive the pass couple of days, but alas, I've been watching and reading Harry Potter 1-7. Yes. I'm obsessed with all things Harry Potter. I'm happy to announce that the theme for this years Halloween party will be Harry Potter in honour of the final movie. I'm telling you this now so you can get started on your costumes. More details to come soon! Mischief Managed.

Spending Fast progress

Since starting our spending fast back in June, we have put a total of around $2,000 towards debt. This includes paying off one debt completely! It feels kinda good to have something paid off and know that it will never be there again since we have changed our thought process on how we spend our hard earned money.  Here are a few things that we have done to cut back on spending. 1. So we changed that to most of the time except for when we are out and about and nighttime. We also purchased Huggies diapers so we changed to the less expensive  Touch of Nature  diapers from Smith's. They are actually the best disposable diapers we have tried on the wee one and...

Wha?! I can cook!

You heard me right! Finally, I can cook! I stumbled upon this here site,  skinnytaste , and every single thing I've tried has turned out fantastic! My favorite recipe so far is the chicken nuggets. note: Panko is Japanese style breadcrumbs Healthy Baked Chicken Nuggets 16 oz (2 large) skinless boneless chicken breasts, cut into even bit sized pieces salt and pepper to taste 2 tbsp olive oil 6 tbsp whole wheat Italian seasoned breadcrumbs 2 tbsp panko   2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese olive oil spray  Preheat oven to 425°. Spray a baking sheet with olive oil spray. Put the olive oil in one bowl and the breadcrumbs, panko and Parmesan cheese in another. Season chicken with salt and pepper, then put in the bowl with the olive oil and mix well so the olive oil evenly coats all of the chicken. Put a few chunks of chicken at a time into the breadcrumb mixture to coat, then on the baking sheet. Lightly spray the top with olive oil spray then bake 8 - 10 min...

BEHOLD!
