What a glorious feeling

Where to begin!  First off, sorry this is a few days over due. But, so was Jordis . 8 days as a matter of fact. I would like to share with all of you our most wonderful, exciting, and glorious experience of the birth of our first child. Or, you can skip over it and look at her pictures ;) The last picture of me pregnant. Boy do I look huge. I left you off in the previous post that we would be heading to the hospital Wednesday the 16th to see where my progress was. Well, on Tuesday night, I started having contractions! They were 30 min. apart so no big deal. At about 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning they were about 15 min. apart so I could no longer sleep. I decided to call my doctor later that morning and he said to come in so he could see where I was. I had progressed to a 2 and 70% effaced. The good news was that I didn't have to go to the hospital to be started that night. He said to plan on going in at 4:00 a.m. on Thursday the 17th to start on pitocin . As luck would have it,...

This & That

He so kindly stripped the membrane and then proceeded to tell me the plan for the week. Hopefully, our sweet 8 lb 6 ounce (he guess at how much she weights right now!) baby will come on her own. If she doesn't, I'll head to the hospital Wednesday night to be checked and if I haven't progressed anymore I'll stay the night and they will try to get me going. Goodness. Of course we will keep you updated either here or on the Facebook ;) **** BJ & Kristin blessed their precious girls a couple of weeks ago. Here's the cute family Don't you just love this?!  It makes me giggle when I see them in the stroller.  I just love it that Chris will hold other people's babies. Especially these cute girls.
