It feels like Christmas!

I can't believe it. Christmas has come and gone already! Crazy. I (along with everybody else) love Christmas time. The smells, the food, family, and gift giving. I love it all. The only thing I didn't like is that my camera only worked some of the time. I don't know what's wrong with it. Our Christmas festivities started on Christmas eve with Chris's family. We get together around 4:00 p.m. and eat, put together puzzles, reenact the nativity, and open presents from Santa. Then onto my parents house to drive around and look at Christmas lights. Personally, that is my favorite part. We woke up around 6:30 a.m. ( who can sleep in on Christmas morning?!) Opened our presents in about 5 minutes and got ready to head into Chris's parents house. We looked outside our window and it had snowed about 5 inches so I decided to call my mom in town and asked how much they had gotten. She told me they had barely gotten anything, so we braved the roads into town and went to see ...

Randomness

So I have been a little bit of a slacker lately but I have good reason. I am sure it's the same reason as everyone else... it's Christmas time and I feel like we have something or somewhere to go every single day!  These are a few pictures of the past couple of weeks. We have been having so much  fun with our family and friends. Here is a small sampling of the fun. Chris has some really great guys that he works with. We went out with Jud & Ashley to dinner and bowling. Try and guess why these two are laughing. Chris was so thrilled that I brought my camera with us. I also think that the look on his face was because I beat him in bowling :) **** Every year me and my sisters and mom, well most of my sisters, get together and bake Christmas goodies. Yum.            **** We get together with the Barber family and do a progressive dinner around Christmas time. We started at our house for appetizer from Roosters.  Delicious :) This cat (Chris called him Ginger) showed up on our p...

Chris' TOP 5

So I decided that once a week I am going to post a new top 5 list. Here is week #1. TOP 5: TV shows from my childhood 5 - Duck Tales 4 - Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers 3 - Animaniacs 2 - Pinky and the Brain 1 - Saved by the Bell As you can see, I loved my cartoons. But by far the greatest show from my childhood was Saved by the Bell. I remember watching 4 episodes every day after school. A few months ago I found a channel that was playing re-runs so I recorded every episode on my DVR. If I may be so bold, I am going to have to say that this was the greatest television show ever created. I love it, even now.....

Bored.

I have been "blog hopping" for at least an hour and finally decided to do a post. It's finals time for Chris, he has been studying like crazy and his work is merging with another credit union. They asked for employees who wanted to to work over time to stay late for the next week or so. Chris left at 7:00 a.m. this morning and he probably won't be home until 10:00 p.m. tonight ( I know some of you are saying what a baby). I am not complaining, I love it that Chris can get paid time and a half :0) I'm just bored. You can only "blog hop" for so long. Anyway, I decided to put on some pictures from Thanksgiving. Enjoy. Chris (and the guys he works with) had a "dog off". Chris loves the hot dogs from Costco and some of the other guys liked the dogs from Sam's Club so they bought enough for everyone to have a half of each and they decided from there which one was better. Try and guess by the picture which one won.  It has been awhile since I have...
