Our Everyday Life: Week 5

Jordis working on her coloring skills and proud of it! Lagoon work day!  We haven't been to Lagoon for a couple of years and a bit has changed.  It's no Disneyland, but we still had a blast! There's no better treat than an ice cream cone! We've been exploring all the things this new city has to offer.  We'll be returning here shortly with better hiking shoes. We got Jordis a bunch of new fall clothes which included these here awesome pj's. She loves all things pirates and when ever she sees a skeleton, she associates it with pirates. I thought I was doing a good thing by getting her these, but she's scared of them! She started screaming when she was laying in bed last night because they were glowing in the dark. Go figure. Let's hope she'll get over it soon.

We are having all sorts of fun exploring the parks close to our home. Chris has had some very interesting experiences his first few games as an athletic trainer for Kimberly high schools football team. Two concussions, broken thumb, broken hand, a possible torn ACL, and... a broken femur. Yes, a broken femur. Crazy stuff. Back at the Perrine bridge. This time we got to see a bunch of base jumpers! It was awesome. I'm pretty sure we'd never do this. Enjoying the beautiful view.   After watching the base jumpers, we stopped off at a fruit stand to buy some delicious stuff.   A lemon cucumber. We got pretty serious about Jordis getting potty trained. She's loves her extremely large water proof underwear. Here's Jordis all ready for some Sunday worship. We love our new ward family.

A Few New Things

Since moving to our new home, we needed to find a good route to take on our morning walks. We figured a 3 mile round trip stroll to the temple works great for us.   Introducing the newest gadget in our kitchen. So worth the month long wait while it was on back order. A small sampling of what we juiced this week.  She always wants to help when we juice. Here's Jordis all set for our 2 hour car ride to Brigham City.  Simba and Nala are joining us on this trip.   Uncle Doug and Aunt Kathy.  Two of our most favorite people we saw on on last trip home. They treated us to a Sunday brunch at their new favorite restaurant, Gia's in Logan (in celebration of Chris' new job). Super good stuff. Minus the screwdriver Doug and Chris got instead of a tall glass of orange juice. Whoops! We stopped by their home before heading back to Brigham. Jordis got to meet S...
