This & That

Here's what's new.
My due date has come and gone (June 9th) and I had an appointment with my Doc. today. Sadly, I'm not really progressing :( I'm at about a one and a half and 25% effaced. He so kindly stripped the membrane and then proceeded to tell me the plan for the week. Hopefully, our sweet 8 lb 6 ounce (he guess at how much she weights right now!) baby will come on her own. If she doesn't, I'll head to the hospital Wednesday night to be checked and if I haven't progressed anymore I'll stay the night and they will try to get me going. Goodness. Of course we will keep you updated either here or on the Facebook ;)

BJ & Kristin blessed their precious girls a couple of weeks ago.
Here's the cute family

Don't you just love this?!
It makes me giggle when I see them in the stroller.

I just love it that Chris will hold other people's babies. Especially these cute girls.
Milley trying to get both fist into her mouth.

Marley couldn't get enough of her dress. Really. The whole front was soaked!

Maddison
Not saying that I have a favorite triplet, but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this picture!

Yesterday was my last day at the office that I have worked at for 7 years. I can't imagine working anywhere else or have a better boss.
Don't think I'll be wearing this anymore.

As some of you might know, I sliced my finger on Memorial day and had to go to the ER and get 4 stitches and a tetanus shot. Oh the joy.
I said goodbye to the stitches today. Hooray!
Needless to say, I don't recommend getting into a knife fight with a watermelon.

Those blue stitches were pretty cool. I do hope your little girl decides to come very soon...on her own. I think it might be Monday. That would be a great day.

Monday would be a great day because we'll be heading home! Let's shoot for that, okay?

I can't get enough of those little girlies, they are so precious. That stroller is INSANE! Love it.

Sorry about your little skittle with the watermelon...watch out next time, eh?

I was wondering about you. I knew the due date had to be coming up. I give you props for being so patient! I've never made it past my due date (we induced with all 3). The lack of progression is a bummer and kind of frustrating. Sorry about the finger. The pictures of the girls are SOO cute! That's one big ol' stroller! Bittersweet leaving the job? That's kinda how I felt, but I only worked there a little over a year-not 7!!

Good luck to y'all this upcoming week! I can't wait to hear about it and see some pictures!

Playlist Fun

I thought this would be a cool idea, and a chance for me to brag about how awesome we are ;) I decided to create a playlist that only had bands on it that either Jena or I (or both) have seen in concert. So you are now listening to this playlist. Here is a little information to go along with the playlist: It only includes bands that we wanted to see, it doesn't include opening bands (unless we really liked them). You will notice that there is more than 1 song for a few of the bands. This reflects how many times we have seen them live. (Yes, I have seen Red Hot Chili Peppers 3 times, and I will see them again if I have the chance.) I refused to include songs from 2 of the concerts that Jena has been to, for personal reasons. These concerts are Garth Brooks and The Dixie Chicks. The first concert I ever went to was in 8th grade and it was Jimmy Page and Robert Plant. You know, from Led Zeppelin. I took my dad to see Deep Purple for Father's Day a few years back. Smoke on the Wate...

Look Who's Gettin' Married!

Dallin and Sam  are getting married in May! We just love Sam and are super excited to have her in our family. In other news... Jordis is 8 months old... ... and she has us laughing everyday! By the way, I will be making this here blog private .  You know the drill.  Leave your e-mail if you want an invite.

Our Everyday Life: Weeks 15-21

Where do I begin?! A lot has happened in the few short weeks that I haven't blogged. We unexpectedly moved back to Utah! Not only Utah, but our old hometown. **** Before we moved back to Utah, we visited family in Utah for Thanksgiving. Creating hand turkeys with Mema for thanksgiving. Jordis was quite positive that we couldn't see her. Barber Family Photo! I think he's pretty handsome... Boy band shot. All the grand kids.  We made candy sleds to race at GG's house with some of Jordis' cousins.  ****    We frequently head to the Harley store as a form of entertainment. Jordis could ride on this rocking  Harley all day. Notice that she HAS to wear gloves while riding. We had one last get together with some of our really good friends in Twin before we left. Visiting someones house that they decorate their entire yard and ...
