Not Going Private!

There has been a sudden surge of bloggers changing their blogs to private after a certain news station ran a story about the "dangers of blogging" a couple of weeks ago. This is just to let you all know that we are not letting a slow news day during sweeps month decide the future of our blog.

There's a good possibility that we are going to do something completely random and spur of the moment in the future and you can read all about it right here, no password or invitation needed...

I was on someone elses blog and I noticed that we had "updated" our blog 11 minutes ago... I was so confused! I was like I didn't do anything to our blog. This is probably the greatest post ever if I do say so myself.

Yea! I'm glad you are not going private. Me neither. I missed the news that day but I won't be going private unless I feel like it, not because channel 5 (or whatever channel it was on) tells me I should. Call me a rebel.

A lot of my friends have private blogs. Sometimes I forget to accept it and then it expires. What a pain. I'm not planning on going private anytime soon, but you never know. Never say never.

I love you guys for posting this... I have thought over and over again (as I have seen people saying they are going private) "Did you really NOT think that things like that could happen?!" I mean, I knew the risks when I started... and now suddenly people are SHOCKED that there are big mean-head people in the world! Makes me laugh! So I'm a butt....

Yeah peeps, don't give out your phone number, email address, put nakey pictures of your kids, yada yada, blah, blah. Honestly, I only get around to my private friend's blogs very often because I don't see them show on my blog list. So most of the time, it is months before I even think about it. Slower traffic, that's for sure. I haven't had a single problem. But I HAVE selected to NOT have my blog show up on google searches or be on the 'next' blog list, but that's just me. If my friends want to find me, they can. I even have it posted on my facebook account. Heck, I WANT people to see how hot my hubby is, and what good lookin' kids we make (well, kid--singular, so far)! I just may do a similar post sometime because I just saw another friend who's title was none other than "going private" BARF!

I've been thinking of you this week as the Twilight movie comes out. I'm obsessed myself to a certain degree. I was also going to tell you that your trip looked FABULOUS. Totally jealous--and I'm happy you're not going private.:)

Playlist Fun

I thought this would be a cool idea, and a chance for me to brag about how awesome we are ;) I decided to create a playlist that only had bands on it that either Jena or I (or both) have seen in concert. So you are now listening to this playlist. Here is a little information to go along with the playlist: It only includes bands that we wanted to see, it doesn't include opening bands (unless we really liked them). You will notice that there is more than 1 song for a few of the bands. This reflects how many times we have seen them live. (Yes, I have seen Red Hot Chili Peppers 3 times, and I will see them again if I have the chance.) I refused to include songs from 2 of the concerts that Jena has been to, for personal reasons. These concerts are Garth Brooks and The Dixie Chicks. The first concert I ever went to was in 8th grade and it was Jimmy Page and Robert Plant. You know, from Led Zeppelin. I took my dad to see Deep Purple for Father's Day a few years back. Smoke on the Wate...

Our Everyday Life: Weeks 15-21

Where do I begin?! A lot has happened in the few short weeks that I haven't blogged. We unexpectedly moved back to Utah! Not only Utah, but our old hometown. **** Before we moved back to Utah, we visited family in Utah for Thanksgiving. Creating hand turkeys with Mema for thanksgiving. Jordis was quite positive that we couldn't see her. Barber Family Photo! I think he's pretty handsome... Boy band shot. All the grand kids.  We made candy sleds to race at GG's house with some of Jordis' cousins.  ****    We frequently head to the Harley store as a form of entertainment. Jordis could ride on this rocking  Harley all day. Notice that she HAS to wear gloves while riding. We had one last get together with some of our really good friends in Twin before we left. Visiting someones house that they decorate their entire yard and ...
