The Happiest Place on Earth!

We just got back from Disneyland (yeah!)and I know all of you are SO excited to see some pictures, so I won't keep you in suspense. With out further ado...
DAY 1

I'll be honest. I'm not the biggest fan of flying, but then again who is? I tried to read, but that didn't work. What am I going to do in October when we have a 16 hour flight? Feel free to give suggestions.
These pictures never do the view justice.
Our first stop was Seal Beach. Really, it was our first stop. We got to Long Beach around 9:30 a.m. so we couldn't check into our hotel yet. How do you like the quasi toe toes?
We couldn't figure out why everything was covered by sand but Chris' big toenail.
This is Chris' extremely adorable niece Teagan. She is seriously a princess and is the best at posing for pictures.
Gavin loved to grab hand fulls of wet sand and throw it back into the ocean. Go figure. I love this grin. It's called the cheeser.

How Sweet.
At the end of the day Chris was ready to take out his Nike contacts I got for him. They are kinda like sunglasses, but not as dark. I think that this is what Edward eyes look like when he is hungry. Kinda scary!

Chris and Ty on our way home from the Claim Jumper which was a nice end to day 1.
DAY 2
Take a guess at what ride we went on first. Did you guess The Jungle Safari? If so, you are correct! We went first thing to get Fast Passes to the Indiana Jones ride and it was a really short line.

We hit Fantasy Land during the fireworks so no one was riding any of the rides.
Tea Cups anyone?
One of my favorite shows is Mary Poppins, so I had to ride on the Merry-go-round. This is not Chris' favorite rides but he had fun.
DAY 3
Some more Disneyland!
Our FAVORITE Disney movie is Alice in Wonderland. I know, I know, you think that's weird.

I had never gone on the Winnie the Pooh ride and it was so much fun!
I obviously got tired of taking pictures so this is the end of a very exciting trip.
I can't wait to go again!

Thanks for sharing the pictures you guys. It looks like you had so much fun. It makes me excited for our disney world trip in January. I didn't even know they had a winnie the pooh ride. I haven't been to Disneyland since I was little. I'm sure a lot has changed.

Playlist Fun

I thought this would be a cool idea, and a chance for me to brag about how awesome we are ;) I decided to create a playlist that only had bands on it that either Jena or I (or both) have seen in concert. So you are now listening to this playlist. Here is a little information to go along with the playlist: It only includes bands that we wanted to see, it doesn't include opening bands (unless we really liked them). You will notice that there is more than 1 song for a few of the bands. This reflects how many times we have seen them live. (Yes, I have seen Red Hot Chili Peppers 3 times, and I will see them again if I have the chance.) I refused to include songs from 2 of the concerts that Jena has been to, for personal reasons. These concerts are Garth Brooks and The Dixie Chicks. The first concert I ever went to was in 8th grade and it was Jimmy Page and Robert Plant. You know, from Led Zeppelin. I took my dad to see Deep Purple for Father's Day a few years back. Smoke on the Wate...

Our Everyday Life: Weeks 15-21

Where do I begin?! A lot has happened in the few short weeks that I haven't blogged. We unexpectedly moved back to Utah! Not only Utah, but our old hometown. **** Before we moved back to Utah, we visited family in Utah for Thanksgiving. Creating hand turkeys with Mema for thanksgiving. Jordis was quite positive that we couldn't see her. Barber Family Photo! I think he's pretty handsome... Boy band shot. All the grand kids.  We made candy sleds to race at GG's house with some of Jordis' cousins.  ****    We frequently head to the Harley store as a form of entertainment. Jordis could ride on this rocking  Harley all day. Notice that she HAS to wear gloves while riding. We had one last get together with some of our really good friends in Twin before we left. Visiting someones house that they decorate their entire yard and ...
