A New Calling

We have been in our new ward for 6 months and Chris and I have still not received Callings, (not complaining),  until now. I am Primary Chorister, again! Yeah!
 
I love this Calling! I had this in my last ward, although I was an assistant to my mother-in-law. She was great by the way. :) I would truly appreciate some help if there is anyone in this same Calling or are in the Primary in their own ward. 

p.s. Chris has still not received a Calling, but the bishop mentioned something about Young Mens which he has never served in before and he would LOVE it! Cross your fingers!

Hi Jena, (it's Alisha...Barber;)) Anyways, cute blog. And I use www.sugardoodle.net for my primary class a whole bunch. I am not sure how much info there is for chorister, but I guess it is worth a try!

That was my favorite calling, but it kicked my butt at times. You know you can always call me for any help. Is your primary very big? I think Chris would do awesome in YM. I think it would suit him well and the guys would love him because he's young and "hip" :0)

Its been a long while High school was forever ago! And why the hell do you wanna lose 17 Pounds you look amazing! I need to do something like turbo jam and after the info commercial I am always like okay going to buy it but never do. How is it? I need to drop some serious pounds for sure, anyways Mrs Barber hope all is well!

I have a cute little board with a guy that you pull teeth on. You will have to see it. The kids in my ward loved it when I subsituted. Wait, they loved the teeth guy, not specifically me! If you want to borrow it, let me know. I don't need it in Relief Society!

Oh, I forgot to say how great Chris would be in YM like everyone else! Brockston is sitting by me, head-banging to "Roxanne". It's freakin' hilarious!

Playlist Fun

I thought this would be a cool idea, and a chance for me to brag about how awesome we are ;) I decided to create a playlist that only had bands on it that either Jena or I (or both) have seen in concert. So you are now listening to this playlist. Here is a little information to go along with the playlist: It only includes bands that we wanted to see, it doesn't include opening bands (unless we really liked them). You will notice that there is more than 1 song for a few of the bands. This reflects how many times we have seen them live. Our Everyday Life: Weeks 15-21

Where do I begin?! A lot has happened in the few short weeks that I haven't blogged. We unexpectedly moved back to Utah! Not only Utah, but our old hometown. **** Before we moved back to Utah, we visited family in Utah for Thanksgiving. Creating hand turkeys with Mema for thanksgiving. Jordis was quite positive that we couldn't see her. Barber Family Photo! I think he's pretty handsome... Boy band shot. All the grand kids.  We made candy sleds to race at GG's house with some of Jordis' cousins.  ****    We frequently head to the Harley store as a form of entertainment.
