Expiration Date

So, I read The Time Traveler's Wife. Loved it. Completely different from anything I have ever read, which is a good thing. I would recommend to read this with a few warnings.

#1- One of the main characters is a time traveler (duh) and it jumps around a lot (really) and at some points there is more than one of this character i.e. Henry is 42 & 35 at the same time. Just a wee bit confusing at times.
#2- There is a bit of language (mainly the F word)
#3- Their marriage seems to thrive on a lot of sex. And the author likes to describe it.

I do believe I will see this movie and I hope it will make more sense now that I have read it.

Question Time
If someone you knew (and loved) knew the day they were going to die, would you want to know? Explain please.

Next book on the list...
Okay, I know I said that The Hunger Games was next, but I have yet to purchase it. I will very soon. Has anyone read the next in the series? I would like to know if it is good.

Some of my Co-workers were talking about this new show...
I decided to watch it. So much better than I expected! In my opinion it gives Twilight a run for it's money.
Check it out on Thursday nights on the CW if you wanna.

Last, but not least, Chris has to do so many hours of medical service each semester. It worked out so nicely that he got to do that today for the Dew Tour.

See if you can find him in the picture.

Cheerio!

You must have posted this RIGHT after I commented on your other stuff. I'll have to read the lightning theif because Pete really liked it and I'll have to see that movie. Eat Pray Love was starting out really good and she used the F word, so I haven't picked it back up yet. Not sure if I want to read it anymore.

A guy from IF took first place in the bike for the dew maybe last year? He rides in UT, but is from IF. Anywho, I'll see you next weekend. I hope you get your house all painted up. Love you!

Playlist Fun

I thought this would be a cool idea, and a chance for me to brag about how awesome we are ;) I decided to create a playlist that only had bands on it that either Jena or I (or both) have seen in concert. So you are now listening to this playlist. Here is a little information to go along with the playlist: It only includes bands that we wanted to see, it doesn't include opening bands (unless we really liked them). You will notice that there is more than 1 song for a few of the bands. This reflects how many times we have seen them live. (Yes, I have seen Red Hot Chili Peppers 3 times, and I will see them again if I have the chance.) I refused to include songs from 2 of the concerts that Jena has been to, for personal reasons. These concerts are Garth Brooks and The Dixie Chicks. The first concert I ever went to was in 8th grade and it was Jimmy Page and Robert Plant. You know, from Led Zeppelin. I took my dad to see Deep Purple for Father's Day a few years back. Smoke on the Wate...

Our Everyday Life: Weeks 15-21

Where do I begin?! A lot has happened in the few short weeks that I haven't blogged. We unexpectedly moved back to Utah! Not only Utah, but our old hometown. **** Before we moved back to Utah, we visited family in Utah for Thanksgiving. Creating hand turkeys with Mema for thanksgiving. Jordis was quite positive that we couldn't see her. Barber Family Photo! I think he's pretty handsome... Boy band shot. All the grand kids.  We made candy sleds to race at GG's house with some of Jordis' cousins.  ****    We frequently head to the Harley store as a form of entertainment. Jordis could ride on this rocking  Harley all day. Notice that she HAS to wear gloves while riding. We had one last get together with some of our really good friends in Twin before we left. Visiting someones house that they decorate their entire yard and ...
