Randomness

So I have been a little bit of a slacker lately but I have good reason. I am sure it's the same reason as everyone else... it's Christmas time and I feel like we have something or somewhere to go every single day!
These are a few pictures of the past couple of weeks. We have been having so much  fun with our family and friends. Here is a small sampling of the fun.

Chris has some really great guys that he works with. We went out with Jud & Ashley to dinner and bowling. Try and guess why these two are laughing.

Chris was so thrilled that I brought my camera with us. I also think that the look on his face was because I beat him in bowling :)

****
Every year me and my sisters and mom, well most of my sisters, get together and bake Christmas goodies. Yum.

We get together with the Barber family and do a progressive dinner around Christmas time. We started at our house for appetizer from Roosters.
Delicious :)
This cat (Chris called him Ginger) showed up on our porch and wanted to come into our house. I would have if he wasn't crazy. He couldn't hold still!

Next stop was Jeremy and Alisha's for salad and bread sticks.

The only way Ethan would hold still while Chris was holding him was to tell him we were taking a picture. He would hold still as long as I was pointing the camera in his direction. I really like this picture.
This one is my favorite :0)

I can't believe how big (and old) Ty is getting. He will forever be the shy little 4 year old I met about 8 years ago. He is such a good kid.

We then went to Brad and Annette's for pizza. Sorry, I got tired of taking pictures.
After pizza, we went to Willard Bay to drive through the lights and see Santa.

Chris and Kaydence ready to see the lights.

Once we got to Willard Bay, Kaydence wanted to drive. It was so cute!
We are so blessed to live so close to all of Chris's brothers and their families.
They are the best!

I was thinking after looking at the pictures of us making treats that maybe I should of put on makeup and done my hair knowing that you would put them on your blog. Oh well. Maybe tonight we might update our blog, but don't get your hopes up in case we don't.

I wish all of our fam lived closer together so we could do a progressive dinner. Making treats was so fun. I need to bring my camera with me more often (or at all). Love you!

I am so sad I wasn't there to make treats. Maybe only one more year up here, then we can move down closer! Cross your fingers. I love the pic with Chris as Rudolph. And what WERE those boys laughing about anywho?

A progressive Christmas dinner?! I am SO adding that to my 'traditions I want to have' list. :) How fun! AND I can't wait to go home and bake all that Christmas goodness with my siblings. Best fun of all time. :) Have a Merry Christmas!

Playlist Fun

I thought this would be a cool idea, and a chance for me to brag about how awesome we are ;) I decided to create a playlist that only had bands on it that either Jena or I (or both) have seen in concert. So you are now listening to this playlist. Here is a little information to go along with the playlist: It only includes bands that we wanted to see, it doesn't include opening bands (unless we really liked them). You will notice that there is more than 1 song for a few of the bands. This reflects how many times we have seen them live. (Yes, I have seen Red Hot Chili Peppers 3 times, and I will see them again if I have the chance.) I refused to include songs from 2 of the concerts that Jena has been to, for personal reasons. These concerts are Garth Brooks and The Dixie Chicks. The first concert I ever went to was in 8th grade and it was Jimmy Page and Robert Plant. You know, from Led Zeppelin. I took my dad to see Deep Purple for Father's Day a few years back. Smoke on the Wate...

Look Who's Gettin' Married!

Dallin and Sam  are getting married in May! We just love Sam and are super excited to have her in our family. In other news... Jordis is 8 months old... ... and she has us laughing everyday! By the way, I will be making this here blog private .  You know the drill.  Leave your e-mail if you want an invite.

Our Everyday Life: Weeks 15-21

Where do I begin?! A lot has happened in the few short weeks that I haven't blogged. We unexpectedly moved back to Utah! Not only Utah, but our old hometown. **** Before we moved back to Utah, we visited family in Utah for Thanksgiving. Creating hand turkeys with Mema for thanksgiving. Jordis was quite positive that we couldn't see her. Barber Family Photo! I think he's pretty handsome... Boy band shot. All the grand kids.  We made candy sleds to race at GG's house with some of Jordis' cousins.  ****    We frequently head to the Harley store as a form of entertainment. Jordis could ride on this rocking  Harley all day. Notice that she HAS to wear gloves while riding. We had one last get together with some of our really good friends in Twin before we left. Visiting someones house that they decorate their entire yard and ...
